We generally read email daily and reply on the day we receive it. If you do not receive a prompt response, generally there are two reasons.
First, check our home page. We always put a note on the home page when we are away for any length of time.
When we were in Martinique for two weeks in 1999, we noted that fact on our home page. We returned to find a couple of hundred emails, 6 of which were from one man. The first was a query, and the next five were titled, "Hey! How About Answering My Question!" We answered his query, with an apology for the delay, and asked that he check the home page in the future.
The answer to his email bounced as undeliverable -- address unknown.
Second, check to be sure the email address you are giving us is correct. We cannot answer if you have made a typo filling out your email address. This form does not capture your email address automatically. The man who sent us the query had his address wrong in every followup email he sent.
Please also tell us what you are asking about.
We have cover all the French West Indies, plus we provide information on the entire
Caribbean and links on the
entire world and
Burning Man
-- a question about "the island" or "our page" without telling us which one means
we have to ask what you are asking about before we can answer.
This form lets you send your comments to us. You'll need a browser that supports forms (including hidden fields). Just fill in the boxes below to send us comments, suggestions, or questions. We have been link-spammed with our contact form, so I am sorry to say we have built in one error message and one preview to dissuade junk email. When you click the submit form, you will get an error on who to send this to. Click the menu below the error message to choose Louise or Phil, then click Preview. You will then have the "opportunity" to review your message for errors, then you may send it. Our sincere apologies for this aggravation, and we hope you will understand.
